From December 2025, a new functionality for PostBase franking systems will be available in the MyFP portal: the cliché designer. This innovative tool allows our customers to create and manage clichés directly in their own account for the first time. This is fast, flexible and independent of external design orders.
Previously, all advertising clichés were ordered via FP and managed centrally. The new cliché designer fundamentally changes this process. In future, individual clichés can be designed independently via the MyFP portal - either on the basis of an extensive template library or with your own motifs and texts.
There is a large collection of images to choose from, which can be used unchanged and without text additions free of charge. However, if you want to integrate your own graphics, logos or text, you can freely customize the design. Font size, position and style can be customized. With a price of 149 euros per self-created advertising cliché, users save up to 40% compared to the previous order via FP.
To ensure Deutsche Post AG's requirements for quality and reliability of the content, individually designed clichés are checked by FP before release. Pure image motifs from our template library do not require approval and are available almost in real time.
The integrated cliché management offers customers significantly more flexibility for the use of advertising clichés in future. In addition to the new advertising clichés generated via the cliché designer, all clichés created by FP in the past are available for PostBase franking systems. You can see at a glance when a cliché was created, which machine it is assigned to and whether it is actively used. Existing advertising clichés can be assigned to a new machine or removed from a machine with just a few clicks. The user can also determine the order in which the advertising clichés are displayed in the franking system using a simple sorting function - processes that were previously only carried out by FP Support.
The cliché designer therefore offers significantly more independence, saves time and reduces costs. A clear design and operation that is easy to understand, even for graphics laymen, make the creation and management of advertising clichés more convenient than ever before.
