Basic modules of the FPi 7100 inserting system
Compared to the FPi 6100 inserting system, the basic version of the larger FPi 7100 system has an additional module, the large envelope feeder, which considerably increases the application possibilities. With a speed of up to 5,000 cycles/h, jobs are also processed much faster.
Tower feeder with control panel
- The tower feeder - the heart of the system - already has 4 feeders for documents, inserts or envelopes up to C4 format
- The inserting system is controlled and programmed via a control panel with a color display. It supports the operator with graphics, images and text and keeps him informed about the status of the system at all times
- 24 different programs can be stored
- The maximum speed is up to 5,000 cycles/h
Folding module
- The folder can be set electronically for single, wrap, Z and double parallel folds. Up to 8 sheets can be processed in the wrap or Z-fold
- With the help of an electronic control system, it is even possible to use several fold types within one job
Large envelope feeder for C6/5 envelopes
This large-capacity module has a capacity of up to 500 envelopes.
By using this feeder, one more station can be used in the tower feeder, e.g. for large envelope formats, to be able to process C6/5 and C4 envelopes at the same time - without changing the envelopes

A compact, flexible and professional inserting system fulfills a variety of tasks and requirements, such as
- Process mailings, invoices, notices or inserts - folded and unfolded - with different envelope formats from DIN long to C4
- Switching to different envelope formats without changing the inserting system
- Fully automatic enveloping of individualized mail items with a control character code - e.g. a barcode
- Control of documents
- Short set-up times for program changes
- Modularly expandable if requirements increase further
