What does the message "Maintenance interval achieved" mean?

Your FP franking machine will inform you at regular intervals that a "maintenance interval" has been reached. This means that maintenance is recommended to ensure the functionality of the machine.

Do I have to order the maintenance myself?

Yes, you can use the maintenance via the Maintenance Form First, enter your customer number and the 3D number (without spaces) of your franking machine in the corresponding fields. After entering it, the flat rate for the maintenance of your machine model will be displayed and you can send the order directly to our service. If your franking machine is supervised by one of our contractual partners, its contact details will automatically appear. In this case, you have the possibility to request a non-binding maintenance offer directly.

Why does the machine continue to display maintenance even though it has just been serviced?

If the status of the machine does not change after maintenance, we ask you to contact our Service hotline We will help you as soon as possible.

How do I order maintenance online?

How long does maintenance take?

As a rule, the entire maintenance – including collection, execution and return – takes a maximum of one week. If it takes longer in exceptional cases (e.g. due to spare parts availability), we will of course inform you in advance.

What does maintenance cost without a contract?

After entering your data in the maintenance form, the individual price of maintenance will be calculated for you.

Can I postpone a maintenance appointment?

When must the ink fleece be replaced for the PostBase One?

A necessary change is displayed by your franking system and depends on your individual franking behavior.

My Frankier or Kuvertier machine indicates a malfunction – what to do?

Look in your manual for the folder inserter or franking machine for the error message. Most error messages, their cause and an instruction for troubleshooting are documented there and can be quickly fixed with the help of the manual.

If your error message is not detected there or the problem cannot be solved, please call our service hotline: 030 / 220 660 540
(Monday to Thursday 08:00–16:00, Friday 08:00–15:00) Our staff in the service hotline are specialists for folder inserters and franking machines. You will be happy to try to fix the error together with you. If the rare case occurs that it is a more extensive fault, a technician comes to you or the device is picked up. Since Francotyp-Postalia has the densest sales and service network in the industry, you can expect a short response time.

What does the error message 006 000 22, C 109 or "Install with Euro"?

For security reasons, Deutsche Post AG requires the franking machine to connect to the __PH28_ data center at regular intervals. We recommend that you have a rhythm of about four weeks. If one of these error messages is displayed, you must load Teleporto as usual. If you do not need a postage at the moment, simply do a loading process with the amount "0 Euro".

Attention! If you do not respond to this message within a reasonable period of time, the franking machine will be blocked after 10 days at the latest.

My franking system shows the error message E 37 in the display

Error E 37: In its free stamp agreement with the Deutsche Post AG, every franking machine customer sets a maximum postage balance. This error message appears if you accidentally want to charge a postage value that exceeds your agreed postage balance. Just perform a new postage load with a lower postage load value.

My franking system shows the error message E 36 in the display

Error E 36: The franking machine has been blocked by Deutsche Post AG. Please call the Teleporto data center. There you will find more information for the reason and the further procedure: 030 / 220 660 540
(Monday to Thursday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

My franking system shows the error message C 27 in the display

Error C 27: This error message says that loading the Teleporto is currently not possible because the lines are overloaded. Please try again a short time later.

My franking system shows the error message M 0 in the display

Error M 0: You would like to post a stamp without a cost center being selected. Therefore, the franking machine does not know which cost center is to be billed. Press the number of cost center to be billed over, and then click "M". Now the cost center is selected and you can post a stamp.
